As writers, we sometimes get too busy. We forget to allow ourselves time to write, or we just don’t feel up to it. That’s okay! It happens.
One way to help with these issues is to schedule a consistent time- whether it’s ten minutes a day, or just a goal of finding time to write a few times a week. However you schedule it is up to you.
It just has to be an acheivable goal and one you stick with.
Even if writing at your scheduled time doesn’t seem to help at first, it should eventually! It might just take a while to get the ball rolling again. That’s alright, just keep writing! The important thing is that you’re doing it. It doesn’t have to be the world’s best poem or piece of fiction.
The point of this exercise is not to strive for perfection, just to hold yourself accountable. Any progress is good progress!
